Braniff Mach 2.0
On January 12, 1979, two Concorde SST jetliners landed simultaneously on separate east and west runways at Dallas/Ft. Worth Regional Airport. The two Concordes, a British Airways and Air France operated by Braniff International, arrived at the gate and stopped. They lowered their noses fully, which marked the beginning of the first Concorde service offered by any US airline and the first from DFW, the Southwest and the interior US.
